Screen Academy

One of only seven screen academies in the UK, partly government funded, this facility for Napier University has been built to give students a state of the art dedicated building for the study of film making. CDA were involved from inception in July 2005, given a strict budget of £700,000 and a tight deadline to have the construction work complete by July 2006. One of Napier's existing teaching facilities on Merchiston Avenue was used for the conversion which involved a total interior strip back to shell and a new facade to give street presence.
