Kinnaird South, Edinburgh

CDA has been appointed by abrdn to assist with the redevelopment of the vacant site at Kinnaird South. The proposed site is located within Newcraighall, a south-eastern suburb of Edinburgh. The area is primarily known for the adjacent Fort Kinnaird Retail Park, a retail development which includes many national retail and food brands including Marks & Spencer, Boots, McDonalds, Costa and Subway.

The proposal includes three individual units with associated parking, service / customer yards, cycle storage and ancillary service enclosures. The individual plots will be contained by fencing and have their own access points, with areas of landscaping along Oversman and Whitehill Roads.

The scale of each building has been developed to suit the operational requirements for potential tenants whilst also considering the surrounding context of the industrial / retail park. Current proposed uses for the buildings include a car servicing unit, builders merchant and timber merchant.
