This month, our CDA team travelled to Belfast for our annual office trip, spending a long weekend exploring the city together.
Our trip kicked off on Friday, with colleagues arriving from both Edinburgh and Glasgow. The first stop was the Titanic Museum, a fascinating, immersive experience that seemed to get more impressive with every turn.
That evening, we headed to the lively Cathedral Quarter, for dinner and drinks in one of the city’s most atmospheric neighbourhoods. Saturday was another day of exploring Belfast’s landmarks and hidden corners, before coming together in the evening for a team dinner at Home, followed by a evening drinks to Margo and the Cathedral Quarter.
Between us, we covered a lot of ground exploring, and a wide range of Belfast’s landmarks and attractions.
A special thanks to Lola McHardy and Amber Redmile for organising the travel and bookings, and to Phil Kingan for sharing his insider knowledge of the city, being Belfast-born and bred!
Trips such as this are an important opportunity for our team to spend time together outside our offices and experience new cities. Previous destinations have included Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Brighton, Brussels, Copenhagen, Dublin, Madrid, Milan, Newcastle, Paris, Rome, Stockholm, and nearer to home, the three bridges tour at South Queensferry, an activity weekend at Lochearnhead and York.
Below is a selection of images from our trip, including entries from our architectural photography competition!
