Shawfair Park Amenity Hub, Dalkeith

CDA was commissioned to develop a prominent site within the Shawfair Park development (a business park which CDA also masterplanned previously) for amenity use including a Coop store, cafe and retail / nursery units.

Working with complex level issues across the site, and on a prominent roundabout site, CDA designed a courtyard scheme to make most use of the site, with outward facing facades and pedestrian plaza to reinforce a sense of place.

Working closely with Coop, CDA developed a layout which met the operational requirements of the store in terms of access, servicing etc. without compromising on the masterplan.
