Rockstar North, Edinburgh

CDA was commissioned to carry out the conversion of the former Scotsman newspaper building to the Headquarters and studios for Rockstar North, an international software and games developer.

The project involved the existing building being stripped back to its structural shell, internal structural alterations and additions and a significant upgrade to the external building fabric to meet the clients demanding performance criteria.

CDA also carried out the interior design, which included the design of bespoke screens, furniture and wall panels and we worked closely with Rockstar to ensure the scheme met their developing business needs which evolved during the project.
