Adam Smith College, Glenrothes

The Engineering, Science & Construction Building is the 9,000sqm first stage in the major redevelopment of the Stenton Campus. CDA led a proactive dialogue between design team and college to reconfigure the masterplan and produce a highly efficient solution.

The three storey classroom block provides a dramatic entrance to the building and forms one side of a new arrival courtyard which complements the existing entrance and will be further enhanced by following phases. Workshop areas are efficiently located and serviced from the rear, thus presenting a clean and well integrated appearance to the surrounding public roads.
