CDA handled the redevelopment of a substantial part of King’s Lynn town centre shopping area. The site, which was previously occupied by a dated 1970’s shopping precinct, forms part of the network of shopping streets at the heart of the town and is immediately adjacent to the Conservation Area. Redundant buildings have made way for new shops designed to meet the latest retail requirements and new pedestrian streets have been formed in place of the previous windswept precincts. The principal design aim of the new development is to provide King’s Lynn with up-to-date shopping in a form which links seamlessly with the older parts of the town centre.
