A comprehensive redevelopment of 19,100m² retail space, 4,550m² of cinema and associated car parking, plus a new town centre bus station in Scunthorpe for Quintain Estates and Developments. Completion was achieved in 2003.
Key to the success of the scheme is the creation of glazed and covered pedestrian routes, which link the town’s two multi-storey car parks and bus station with the newly defined shopping streets and existing town centre. The scheme completes a loop of town centre shopping linking the existing High Street and Southgate Mall to the new pedestrianised John Street and Cole Street.
