A small office in a traditional Georgian mews, the Gayfield building is an infill between the new housing built on the main street frontage and the lower scale lane at the rear. A simple exposed steel structure frames full height cedar cladding and glass panels to the main façade. A glazed reception space gives an open impression at ground floor with glimpses of the landscaped garden beyond. Parking and services are neatly confined at basement level to keep the form of the upper floors as simple as possible.
