Eastfield House Eastfield House

Eastfield House involved the refurbishment and extension of traditional farm buildings to create a modern office suite of distinctive character near to Edinburgh Airport. The building includes a contrast of volumes and surfaces. The relative solidity of the original buildings opened up with new circulation and rooflighting, frames the courtyard extension. The lighter extension building, in a steel structure with infill timber and glazed panels, enjoys views into the private garden space. The office cores are discreetly planned at the junction of the old and new.
